Firestone expanded our services in early 2001 to include field service. The objective of this expansion was to take our knowledge and experience of the cryogenic industry to our customers. Firestone can provide everything from simple copper pipe installation, to large scale turnkey operations where we coordinate with other contractors to accomplish a large scale objective. For example, we:
- Rebuilt the oxygen injection system and 45,000 gallon bulk supply vessel, destroyed after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, La;
- Supplied and installed, within a contract specified timeline, over 2 miles of copper piping to supply oxygen and shield gas for a customer in San Angelo, Tx that builds wind towers;
- Designed, and installed a new vacuum jacketed piping system to feed liquid freezers for Texas A&M’s research facility in the Houston Med Center Area;
- Installed and provided “service call” type services, on bulk liquid tanks, for Airgas SW; and
- Sold and installed tanks to the end user directly from our Houston facility.
These only make up a few of the diverse projects that we have successfully provided to the cryogenic industry through the years. No project is too big or too small. As a company we supply the industry with well-trained employees to provide you with high quality systems or services at a superior level. We carry full insurance available upon request. Our field service employees carry a minimum HASC Basic plus safety training.
